More than 500 companies and organisations are based at Frankfurt Airport, making up the nucleus of its
airport city.
Along with the traditional airline, aviation and cargo companies, the range of partners is expanding as the various new real estate developments come to fruition.
Frankfurt Airport City is proving to be a highly attractive mobility hub for new partners to locate to the airport
itself and the The Squaire, Gateway Gardens and the Mönchhof site.
The HOLM House of Logistics and Mobility competence centre - considered the world's first airport university
campus' - will be built at Gateway Gardens in the next few years.
Fraport is one of the founding partners of HOLM which will combine the resources of four major educational
institutions in the region: Frankfurt's Goethe University, the Frankfurt University of Applied Science, Darmstadt
Technical University and the European Business School in Wiesbaden/Rheingau.
Fraport says it is working diligently with all of these partners and stakeholders to develop FRA as a sustainable and green global airport city competing in the premier league. The company is working closely with business
partners as well as municipal, regional, state, federal, European and international entities to achieve this goal.
