Bill Burton serves as senior vice president of Hillwood Properties, developer of AllianceTexas. Burton joined Hillwood in January 1989 and has been a key player in the transformation of AllianceTexas from raw ranch land to a 17,000-acre, master-planned development that is home to more than 230 major companies.  Burton oversees development and marketing efforts for office, industrial and retail product at

AllianceTexas. His expertise include master planning, building development, sales, leasing, marketing, economic development, negotiation and public speaking. He has directed build-to-suit and lease transactions totaling more than twelve million square feet with companies such as Nokia Mobile Phones, Volkswagen of America, Hewlett-Packard, Daimler Financial Services, SC Johnson and Son, Honeywell and AT&T. In addition he has coordinated more than 1,500 acres of land sale transactions with companies such as Fidelity Investments, Intel, JCPenney, UPS Supply

Chain Solutions, Ford, General Motors, KRAFT Foods, Citigroup and more.

Burton is an active member of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and a 1990 graduate of Leadership Fort Worth. He also is a member of CoreNet, a developer associate in the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and a member of The Real Estate Council.

Burton serves on the executive committee of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Fort Worth and is past chair.  He is a 1983 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
