Jim Jarvis is a Senior Vice President with Ricondo & Associates. Ricondo & Associates is an international aviation planning consultancy dedicated to airport facility and infrastructure planning, airport operations planning, airport financial planning, land use planning, and environmental impact assessments of airport operations. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in infrastructure planning & land development consulting.
Jim has a Masters Degree from the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Ricondo & Associates he served as the Manager of Transportation Planning at the Massachusetts Port Authority, owner and operator of Boston's Logan International Airport. While at Logan International, Mr. Jarvis lead a team of staff professionals and consultants researching and modeling intermodal mode choice decisions factors, cargo logistics, airport landside facility development, airport land use planning and intermodal transportation policy.
During past 10 years he has managed airport land use and intermodal planning projects at many of the world's busiest airports including Abu Dhabi, Beijing, Chicago O'Hare, Los Angeles World, Miami International, Washington Dulles International, and Las Vegas McCarran International. .
Mr. Jarvis has presented at several major industry conferences including the United States Department of Transportation Research Board, the American Public Transportation Association, Airport Revenue News, the Clean Airports Summit, and the Las Vegas World Aviation Forum. He has lectured at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, The Real Estate Program at Georgetown University's School of Continuing Education, The University of North Carolina Department of City and Regional Planning, and Virginia Tech's School of Urban Affairs and Planning. |
