Kevin J. Baker PE, joined the Authority in January 2008, and was appointed Executive Director in September, 2010.  He served previously as a Vice President of the Michael Baker Corporation, a 5,000 person consulting firm.  In that role, Mr. Baker served as a consultant to the Authority for 10 years, leading major airport development programs.  Mr. Baker is a 1990 Graduate of Lehigh University, with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  He is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in North Carolina.  Mr. Baker has been involved in numerous community, civic and other activities, including serving on the Board of Trustees of the Natural Science Center of Greensboro; Chair of a Boy Scouts of America Explorer Post; and has led YMCA and Boy Scout fund-raising committees.
