Marsha A. Stone is the Chief Financial Officer for the Indianapolis Airport Authority. After obtaining her B.S. from Indiana State University, Ms. Stone began her accounting career with Geo. S. Olive and Co. (now BKD, LLP), where she passed the CPA examination and focused significantly on audits of non-profit and governmental agencies. Ms. Stone originally joined the Authority as Director of Internal Audit in October 1994. She spent 12 years in various financial roles working for a UK based airport operator, BAA, while BAA held the management contract for the Indianapolis Airport Authority. After transitioning back to Airport Authority management, Ms. Stone now holds the role of CFO at the airport, responsible for financial / treasury matters, business and air service development, as well as risk management, human resources, and other administrative functions. Ms. Stone serves on the Finance Steering Committee and is immediate past-chair of the Finance Committee for Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA); she also serves on ACI's World Economics Committee and is Immediate Past-President of the Indianapolis chapter of Financial Executives International. Ms. Stone serves of the IU Health - West Hospital board of managers and the Cabaret Theatre board of directors. Ms. Stone was recently named the IBJ's top honoree for the 2010 CFO of the Year Award - governmental category. |
