Terrence G. Slaybaugh leads the Department of Aviation as the Director of Aviation for the City of Dayton, Ohio. The department owns and operates Dayton International Airport, a general aviation Dayton's Wright Brothers Airport, and a downtown helipad. Dayton International also has 1.2 million square feet of cargo space. The airport handles around three million passengers annually. It is home to ten airlines and there are approximately 2200 employees working onsite. Dayton also holds one of the prestigious air shows in the United States. Dayton International has more than one billion dollar impact on local economy
Previously Mr. Slaybaugh was Senior Vice President of the Anthony Costello and Son Development Company of Rochester, NY.
From 1996 to 2006 Mr. Slaybaugh served as Director of Aviation at the Greater Rochester International Airport, where he led business development, large capital projects, operations and expansion of security. His accomplishments there included attracting low-fare airlines, lowering airlines' operating costs and reducing airport operating costs.
His experience also includes management of air passenger, air cargo and community redevelopment initiatives for both public and private sector organizations.
