As Principal Technologist and Director of Aviation Environmental Services, Tom oversees the execution of all environmental planning and compliance projects that enable airport development and operation. He specializes in impact minimization, sustainability planning, and the NEPA process. He also specializes in education of and consensus building between agencies and stakeholders. He is currently focused on the emerging issue of adaptation for climate change in the aviation and transportation context. Tom has a BS from UCONN and an MS from the University of New Haven. He has served as Chair of ACC's Environmental Committee, serves on TRB's Environmental Impacts of Aviation Committee (AV030), serves as the Chair of its Water Resources Subcommittee, and has served as an organizer/presenter of the ACC/ACI NEPA Training Workshop since its inception in 2006. Tom, his wife Barbara, and three great children live in Essex, Connecticut. For fun, they snow ski, travel, and sail in Long Island Sound. |
