Mr. Jones began his aviation career in 1996 doing cargo sales for Martinair Cargo.
In 1999 he joined Chapman Freeborn Air Chartering.
In 2004 Mr. Jones was hired as the Aviation Development Manager at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. His duties include the development of new passenger and cargo routes into Atlanta along with the increase of aviation development at the Atlanta airport. In 2010 he was awarded the Metro Atlanta Chamber's- Supply Chain Professional of the Year award. In addition to his duties at the World's Busiest Airport, Mr. Jones is a part time instructor at Georgia State University and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University teaching aviation related courses.
Mr. Jones is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a concentration in Aerospace Administration and has a Masters in aviation management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He enjoys traveling, reading, playing golf and spending time with his Australian Sheppard-Taylor. |
