Mr. Wu Nianzu, born in 1948 and graduated from Shanghai Tongji University, is Professor of Engineering and Senior Engineer in construction of bridge and road systems. Currently Mr. Wu is the Board Chairman of Shanghai Airport Authority.

After working as the Deputy Director in Shanghai Road Systems Administration, he acted as the Director General of the Municipal Construction Administration Bureau of Shanghai City Government in 1997. From 1998 to 2003, he worked in the Shanghai Municipal Government as the Deputy Secretary General and the Director General of the Office of Shanghai Municipal Construction Committee. He came to Shanghai Airport Authority in April, 2003 as the Board Chairman. From 2004 to 2010, Mr. Wu acted as Chairman and President of Shanghai Airport Authority. Currently, He is the Chairman of Shanghai Airport Authority.

In Nov., 2005, Mr. Wu Nianzu entered the Board of ACI Pacific. From May of 2006, Mr. Wu Nianzu has been the Director of the Regional Board of ACI Asia-Pacific.

In the August of 2006, Mr. Wu Nianzu was elected as the Vice Chairman of China Civil Airports Association (CCAA)
