Airport City Tour (AM)

Join fellow delegates for a tour of Stapleton. Participants will tour the nationally acclaimed urban neighborhood that is developing on the site of Denver’s former airport.  One of the nation’s  largest infill developments, Stapleton’s  4,700 acres are transforming into a sustainable community with homes , retail and commercial offices within walking distance of magnificent parks and open space.

Welcome Reception & Official Opening (PM)

Participants are invited to attend the Welcome Reception and opening ceremony held in the Plaza Exhibition/Foyer at the official conference hotel - The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. Delegates can take advantage of this networking evening to meet fellow delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors in a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere.

The Welcome Reception will provide a platform for the Airport Cities event to be officially opened along with the exhibition room for delegates to browse.

Gala Evening at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

All participants are invited to the Gala Evening held at Red Rocks Amphitheatre! At 6,450 feet above sea level, Red Rocks Park is a unique transitional zone where the Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains. Guests will have an opportunity to marvel at the geological phenomenon whilst enjoying the company of fellow delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors during the Gala Evening.

Farewell Reception & Official Closing

Join fellow delegates in welcoming next year's Airport Cities host, Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, for the Handover Ceremony, as well as congratulating Denver International Airport on hosting Airport Cities 2012. The South African-style reception will be held at The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel where attendees will experience a truly South African experience!
