Major roadways to Memphis International Airport could soon be the focus for new airport city developments, according to a team of real estate experts hired to study their potential.

Chicago based Applied Real Estate Analysis Inc has been commissioned by the Memphis Airport Area Development Corporation (MAADC), a business focus group dedicated to developing land around the gateway, to draw up a masterplan for developing the Brooks Road and Airways highways into the coming decades.

As well as analysing the real estate opportunities, the team will consider the potential for developing tourist attractions and public transport infrastructure after work began on a new Memphis Area Transfer Authority transfer terminal is being built.
