Auckland Airport has signed a deal with Toll Global Forwarding to build a new $9.8 million warehouse and distribution facility in the airport's business district.

Toll Global Forwarding is part of the Australian company, Toll Holdings Limited, which specialises in the import and export of goods by both air and sea, and is regarded as the largest mover of non-perishable airfreight in New Zealand.
The new complex will comprise of 5,000sqm of warehouse and more than 1,750sqm of office space and will be located in an area know as "The Landing" .
Within the Airport Business District at Auckland there are seven precincts that focus on specific land-uses and cater for the varying needs of particular businesses. The Landing is the warehouse and logistics precinct.
Peter Alexander, general manager of property for Auckland Airport, says: "This partnership with Toll Global Forwarding delivers further momentum to our property development strategy, and adds another high-quality international business to our portfolio.

Toll will join Expeditors, NZ Van Lines, Mercedes, DSV and the New Zealand Food Innovation Centre who have already located in The Landing.
