Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport handled more than 10,600 tonnes of cargo in the first three months of 2011, an increase of 23% on the same period last year.

In the first quarter of 2011, the airport handled a total of 10, 654.3 tonnes of cargo.
This included 10,494.6 tonnes of international cargo traffic - a rise of 23.5% - and 159.6 tonnes of domestic cargo traffic - up by 11.4%.
The most popular destinations in terms of the volume of cargo carried, included Cologne, Leipzig, Chicago, Seoul and Shanghai.
Chopin Airport is Poland's largest airport and served more than 8.7 million passengers in 2010.
