In order to promote the growth of Shuangliu's already booming aviation-related economy, the city of Chengdu is set to host its first airport city development conference later this year.
The International Aviation-based Economic Development Summit (IAEDS) will see CEO's and directors from the world's major airports, airlines, airport cities, aviation companies and related industries come together to share their knowledge and explore the major trends in airport city development and assess the economic impact of airport cities on regional growth.
A host of industry specialists, investors, senior government and airport officials and groups relating to the aviation based economy will be sharing their views with delegates passing on their advice on creating new investment opportunities and airport real estate development programmes.
The event will run from October 22-26, 2010 and is expected to draw delegates from around the world.
