Arabtec Construction has been awarded a $153 million contract to expand Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport.

The project includes the structural, mechanical, engineering and plumbing (MEP), and site works for Terminal 2's expansion, and will last for 25 months.
Arabtec Construction, a subsidiary of Arabtec Holding, received the Letter of Award from Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC) on Wednesday 4 January.
Greg Christofides, CEO of Arabtec Construction LLC, said: "This project demonstrates Arabtec's track record in carrying out infrastructure works for airports where this is the 12th project awarded to Arabtec relating to Civil Aviation Work.
Arabtec has already completed a number of projects at Dubai Airport and Dubai World Central including the renovation, expansion, and structural works on passenger terminals, control towers, energy centres, maintenance hangars, and cargo buildings.
