Frankfurt Airport City has scored a major coup after convincing DB Schenker, the transport and logistic department of Deutsche Bahn, to move its management and logistics operations to the Alpha Rotex building of its Gateway Gardens office complex.
"We had several good estate options - we have opted for Alpha Rotex", said Dr Karl-Friedrich Rausch, CEO of Transport and Logistic of DB Mobility Logistics AG. "We made an excellent choice for a highly modern and attractive locationone that lives up to a leading global transport and logistic service provider.
"We made an excellent choice for a highly modern and attractive location - one that lives up to a leading global transport and logistic service provider. Alpha Rotex is underscored by the excellent location and the accessibility - for our employees and our clients. On these premises, we can present our brand DB Schenker with good visibility. As Alpha Rotex is still being constructed, we can bring in our own ideas for modern workplaces and therefore design an optimal office concept. We are looking forward to a good and professional working relationship with both Frankfurt-based project development companies Groß & Partner and OFB," he added.
Frankfurt-based project developers Groß & Partner and OFB are currently building Alpha Rotex, a 11,800sqm, 16 storey high office building, which will be the highest building in Gateway Gardens. Once completed in 2013 DB plans to run its future European rail freight and international logistic businesses from Alpha Rotex.
