Fraport AG is showcasing its Frankfurt Airport City (FRA) as a top real estate location at the 13th Expo Real International Trade Fair taking place this week in Munich.
On October 5 from 4 pm, a panel discussion will be held in the Metropolarena Frankfurt Rhein Main presentation area at Stand 334 in Hall C1 with the discussion focusing on the FRA real estate location and the growth spurt FRA expects to create with the opening of the new Runway Northwest in the autumn of 2011.
Urban planner Dr Martin Wentz, from the International Real Estate Business School at the University of Regensburg, will deliver the keynote speech describing how the airport acts as an economic gravitational centre for the region.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Steffen Uttich from the real estate market section of the Frankfurt Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper.
Panel members will include: Markus Frank, head of the City of Frankfurt's department for economics, human resources and sports; Karl-Heinz Dietrich,
Fraport AG's executive vice president for retail and properties; Michael Korn, vice chairman of Schenker Deutschland AG, and Holger Starp, managing partner of Plug and Work, a medium-sized company that will operate a business and conference centre in The Squaire (formerly called Airrail Center), a futuristic complex nearing completion on the rooftop of FRA's Long-distance Train Station.
At 6 pm, visitors will be able to attend the Property Management Talk at Fraport AG's stand C1.230. In an open discussion Jörg Guderian, head of Fraport's external real estate and property management department will present the Fraport Group's experience in the full-service management and technical control of complex multifunctional buildings.
