Design and consulting firm Gresham, Smith and Partners (GS&P) has been appointed to come up with a land use plan for Tulsa International Airport.

The company has been tasked with finding innovative ways to maximise the potential of the airport land for aeronautical as well as non-aeronautical activities.
The project is intended to create positive economic impacts for the surrounding community while at the same time generating additional revenue for Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust (TAIT).
GS&P said it would conduct a comprehensive analysis of the factors that affect aeronautical and non-aeronautical land development in the Tulsa region - including an infrastructure investigation, target industry analysis and a regional market assessment.
Carl Remus, deputy director of administration and finance at Tulsa Airport Authority, said: "This project directly supports one of the primary goals of TAIT - to produce new or increased revenue for the airport.
"We look forward to working with the GS&P team to develop a plan focused on optimising our land located on the southeastern side of the terminal building."
Mike Cochrane, senior vice president of Land Planning & Design for GS&P, added: "A comprehensive analysis will result in a plan that encompasses more than short-term growth.
"The road map provided through the business development land use plan will guide future development within TAIT's airport system for several decades."
