Swedish bank Handelsbanken has announced it will open its new Dutch headquarters at Shichphol Airport next month.
The bank has signed a lease for approximately 860sqm of lettable floor area at the airport's World Trade Center (WTC) Schiphol, the bank already has an office located at Amsterdam South-East.
General Manager Mikael Sörensen is happy about the upcoming move and says that Handelsbanken chose WTC Schiphol Airport because 'this location seems both practical and flexible' and 'moreover, offers excellent accessibility to both our domestic and international contacts. In addition, it allows us to offer our employees a working environment in a dynamic and international location,' according to Sörensen.
WTC Schiphol Airport has a direct connection with the terminal, Schiphol Plaza and the Dutch Railways (NS) train station. With its central location and the extensive WTC services package, the WTC complex is ideally suited to internationally operating businesses and it is one of the most exclusive office buildings in the Netherlands.
WTC Schiphol Airport is home to companies active in the aviation sector and financial services and it houses both headquarters and branch offices of international companies. The WTC offers a range of facilities, including the WTC Business Center with meeting rooms, a restaurant, coffee corner, LAN hot spots, a bank and travel agencies.
