Global IT supplier Terremark Worldwide plans to establish a new 25,000sqm data centre at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Terremark's markets include the USA, South America and Europe and at Schiphol the company plans to partner with Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX), a major hub for web-based communications with parties outside the Netherlands.
"Schiphol is a major European hub and a very strategic and strong business location, with an extensive network of destinations. We're delighted to be able to further expand out IT activities at this hub, close to our customers in the Netherlands and other European countries," says Manual D. Medina, CEO of Tellemark Worldwide.
