Kuehne + Nagel has started work to expand its logistics centre by a further 14,000sqm at the purpose-built aerotropolis Dubai World Central (DWC).

The expansion of its logistics centre is part of Kuehne + Nagel's global growth strategy and is designed to strengthen the company's ability to support high-potential sectors, including the global pharmaceutical and aviation industries.
In 2009 Kuehne + Nagel completed construction of Phase 1 of the centre consisting of around 17,000sqm warehouse space. Phase 2 will add approximately 14,000sqm of space to the warehouse and mezzanine to reach a total area of 31,000sqm.
Additionally, Kuehne + Nagel ­operates a modern 16,000sqm logistics terminal in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai and has established offices in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah as well.
