Gaylord Entertainment has announced it plans to built a resort and convention centre in Aurora, Colorado, 10 minutes drive from Denver International Airport at a cost of $800 million.
Equipped with 1,500 guest rooms, 400,000sqft of exhibtion and meeting space and an atrium overlooking the Rock Mountains, the resort is designed to be an attractive meeting place for meeting planners and conventions.
Gaylord has selected Colorado-based Hensel Phelps Construction Company as the project's general manager and hopes to break ground by mid 2012.
