FedEx has awarded Singapore-based Pteris Global a $2.6 million contract to design and build a new parcel sortation system at Beijing Capital International Airport.


 

Pteris Global has previously designed and installed the parcel sortation systems for FedEx at both the Philippines' Subic Bay International Airport as well as Taiwan's Taoyuan International Airport in 2001.

Elsewhere, the group has also completed parcel sortation and material handling systems for other global logistics companies such as DHL, UPS and TNT at various locations around the world.
