Aviation has become pivotal to business location and economic development in the 21st century. Industries providing higher-value, time-critical goods and services as well as those in the tourism, sports, and entertainment sectors are especially dependent on air access. ACED 2010 will inform delegates why this is increasingly the case; how airports are leveraging their air connectivity to attract new business, industry, and tourists; and the challenges aviation and airports must overcome to achieve their full economic development potential. Stimulating panels consisting of thought leaders in aviation, industry, government, and the academy will offer rich insights on all these issues.
