This week saw a dramatic shakeup of the world's top ten busiest airports, with Beijing Capital International Airport, a leading airport city, leapfrogging Heathrow Airport to take the number two spot and Chicago O' Hare International Airport taking third place, this leaves Heathrow fourth and Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport still number one with just under 90mppa.

Event news
Expectations are hotting up now with only four weeks to go before the ACI Airport Cities World Conference & Exhibition (ACE) 11-13th April 2011 in Memphis.
Airport cities from all over the globe will be converging at Memphis for the landmark event of 2011 and the only global gathering of the Airport City/Aerotrpolis community.
ACE 2011 has attracted a record amount of attending airports from North America, Europe, Asia, India, Middle East, South America.
Event Highlights will include CEO visions and insights from Airports such as Memphis, Denver, LAX, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Shanghai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kuala Lumpur, Taoyuan and of course the special key note presentations from Congressman Steve Cohen, Fred Smith, Founder, President and CEO of FedEx and Richard Anderson, CEO, Delta Air Lines.

The programme of networking events will ensure that it's not all work in Memphis. The programme includes the Golf Tournament, Gala Night at the home of Elvis Presley, Graceland, farewell party and much more.

Dubai Airport Free Zone sees 23% increase in sales: The Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA) has seen a 23% increase in sales in 2010, compared with the previous year, according to its chairman HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
Beijing becomes second busiest airport: Having achieved +13% increase in passengers, Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) has become the world's second busiest airport, according to news preliminary firgures from ACI.
