new on global airport cities
This month on Global Airport Cities, we take a closer look at the ambitious land development plans of three airports: Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver and Auckland, where projects as diverse as oil and gas wells, hotels, commerce parks and office blocks are either completed or in the pipe line.
It's been a busy few months for airport city developments around the world. In Germany, Berlin Brandenburg International, the capital city's eagerly awaited new airport, announced it had broken ground on a 16-hectare airport city, boasting car hire and parking facilities, an office complex and 4-star hotel.
