The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) has announced the five finalists who will compete to design and build phase two of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project.
The finalists were selected in a competitive process to establish their expertise to build the rail line and stations which will extend the Metro system to Dulles International Airport and into Loudoun County.
They will now proceed to a Request For Proposal (RFP) stage that will ultimately determine the winning contractor.
The five teams that have been selected to compete for the contract are listed below in alphabetical order, along with their equity members:

Pat Nowakowski, executive director of the rail project, said that the finalists included “some of the most qualified and most successful engineering and construction companies in the world.”
